I've had some fun recently learning how to use adobe illustrator. For me, one of the best way to learn how to do something is to do it. This little owl is one of my first projects.

This Cheese Cake has long been a family favourite of ours, and has featured at many of our celebrations over the years.  It doesn't require cooking, can be made a day ahead, looks great, and any leftovers (if you are lucky enough for there to be any) are absolutely delicious.
It's not as sweet as you would expect, as the lemon juice cuts through the sugar.

It can easily be made gluten free by switching the biscuits for a gluten free version.

It's been a while, but I've been working on a few new posts that I'm getting ready to go up. The first, this chicken craft, with free printable templates, is now up on the website.
