Tahini-Roasted Cauliflower Steaks
These have been a hit in our household. The tahini and spice crust adds delicious flavour to roasted cauliflower.

Ingredients
2-3 cauliflower ‘steaks’ approx. 3cm thick Olive oil Marinade: 2 tbsp tahini (sesame seed paste) 1 ½ tbsp olive oil 2 tsp sweet paprika 1 tsp cumin 1 tsp salt ½ tsp asafoetida (or garlic powder) |

Method
1. Preheat the oven to 210°C (Fan forced). 2. Mix all the marinade ingredients together with a fork. |

3. Place the cauliflower steaks on a baking tray covered with a sheet of baking paper. Coat the cauliflower steaks lightly with olive oil, then cover with a thick layer of the marinade.

4. Roast at 210°C for 1 to 1 ½ hours until soft.
