Review: Nourishme Organics
Fermentation Products and Supplies
Nourishme Organics is an Australian online store (international shipping is available) that sells a range of products required for fermenting foods as well as a range of gut health products and skin care products. I've been buying their products since I discovered fermented foods, and their store, in 2017... I've been so impressed that, when after my last order they sent me a link to give others a discount, I decided I'd be happy to spread the word about their products. It's a good discount. Disclaimer - Nourishme Organics did not ask me to review them, and I have no other affiliation with them apart from being a loyal customer...
I only recommend those products that I've personally purchased and tried...

Pickle Pipes:
These are simple and easy to use fermentation airlocks for mason jars. I have the wide mouth ones to fit my wide mouth Ball Mason jars.
They are a one-piece, self-sealing, silicone and waterless airlock. When fermenting your own vegetables, it is important that the carbon dioxide is allowed to escape (or else the jar can explode) and that oxygen can't enter (or else your food will spoil with mould).
The Pickle Pipe maintains the perfect, maintenance-free fermenting environment without the need to burp your jars every day, or monitor the water levels of a 3-piece airlock. When finished, simply pop them in the dishwasher.
A couple of hints:
My sauerkraut jars often overflow with excess juice early in the fermentation process, so I sit the jars in a container that can catch any excess fluid.
I have found that the metal bands that come with Ball Mason jars rust during fermentation and in the fridge, so I purchased Tough Bands to use during fermentation instead, and they work perfectly.

Tough Bands:
I have found these a worth-while investment to replace my rust-prone screw bands. They are made of durable plastic (which doesn't touch the food), they are food-safe (and BPA-free), don't rust, can be washed in the dishwasher, and create a leak-proof and airtight seal. I use them for securing the Pickle Pipes on top of my during fermentation.

Tough Tops:
I've also loved these lids... Made of the same durable plastic as the tough bands, they are food safe, BPA free, with a leak-proof and airtight seal and they don't rust in the fridge! Once my sauerkraut fermentation is complete, I switch the tops over to these lids and store them in the fridge. I've tried other brands of plastic lids, but they didn't have the quality, and lacked the leak-proof seal which I like for storing liquids.

Pickle Packer:
Made from natural acacia wood - a sustainable and eco-friendly crop, and with a double-sided design that fits both wide-mouth and regular-mouth mason jars. I use it for both 'bruising' the cabbage after salting, and it is fantastic for packing the cabbage down tightly into the jars which removes the air and allows me to get a lot more cabbage into the jar. I like this much more than I thought I would. It can't go into the dishwasher, but a quick wash is all it needs.

Rice Culture Organic Instant Miso Soup:
My husband loves Miso Soup, and this Miso is his favourite. I'm love that it's organic, fresh (not dried and powdered), comes in a recyclable glass container (instead of packaged into single-serve plastic-covered packages of dried soup like I've found elsewhere), and is Australian made (supporting local producers). Super easy to prepare - just put a teaspoon of the paste into cup or bowl and pour over boiling water.
Ingredients: Certified Australian Organic Soy Bean, Certified Australian Organic Rice, BFA Certified Sea Salt, Organic Tamari, Organic Seaweed (Kombu), Koji starter (Aspergillus Oryzae)
There is also chilli Miso soup available, and a range of Miso pastes (we haven't tried these yet).

Kefirko Kefir Maker:
I did like my Kefirko Kefir Maker, unfortunately I dropped it and being glass, it is no more... I loved that the kefir was in glass and only contacted the plastic lid when you strained it. I did find that if I left the kefir too long it could be tricky to strain, but nothing that the help of a sieve couldn't fix.

Kefir Grains:
I have tried both Milk kefir grains, and after I went dairy free, the Coconut Milk kefir grains. Both produced a nice kefir with which I was very happy...but then I unhappily dropped my Kefirko Kefir Maker (not the products fault) and have put the grains into the freezer for storage...hopefully to be resurrected soon...
The store also sells heaps of other products which I haven't tried yet
