Lerderderg State Park is a wonderful place to go for a bush walk. There are lots of different walks of different lengths and difficulty.
There is evidence of the gold-mining era, with tunnels and holes, and even the diversion of a river with a tunnel dug through the rock.
The walks traverse a diverse range of bushland and if you are interested in fungi, there is a diverse range to be found alongside the walking tracks.
Camping is allowed in designated areas.
More info is available from Vic parks and from alltrails.com and bushwalking Australia
