Foil Easter Eggs
This craft is a good one to do with older kids - they can arrange the decorations on the egg and you can help them cover it with the foil.
Materials
Card
Aluminium foil
Masking tape, double-sided sticky tape
Decorations - pipe-cleaners, buttons, fake jewels etc etc (Decorations must be flat-backed and not too thick (max thickness about 2mm)
Glue (I used white craft glue)
Scissors
Paint brush (optional)

Instructions
Cut out egg shapes from the card. My eggs were approximately 12cm high and 9.5cm wide. Use double-sided sticky tape and masking tape at arrange your decorations onto the eggs. The decorations should be well spaced. I recommend at least a 1cm border around each piece. This will make it much easier to apply the foil and to for each shape to be distinctive. |
