LensPen Cleaning Kits
I have two LENSPEN cleaning kits and can highly recommend them. When it comes to taking care of my expensive lenses I don't want to take any chances with inferior products. LENSPENs have a retractable brush on one end and a cleaning tip that is infused with a unique carbon compound - Carbon molecules can absorb huge amounts of oils and contaminants. The kits also come with a microfibre cleaning cloth

Air Blower
Air blowers are great at removing dust from a lens, sometimes avoiding the need to use a Lenspen or cloth.
Things to consider:
My current air blower I would not recommend - these look much better.
Things to consider:
- I like an air blower that will stand unsupported as it is tidier and easier to store. It also helps to keep the nozzle clean.
- The nozzle material - if the nozzle is made of hard plastic, you will need to be extra careful not to let it touch the lens. Some models come with soft nozzles so accidentally touching the lens is unlikely to scratch it.
- Some models filter the air before it blows out the nozzle, which could be important if you are using the blower outdoors in dusty conditions.
- One way valve systems will prevent you sucking the dust off the lens and then blowing it straight back at the lens.
My current air blower I would not recommend - these look much better.
